Flowery Mirador to elevate and discover the sea

It is centrally positioned along the layout axis of Piazzale Kennedy and is designed to tell a story that starts at the level of the exhibition area’s walking surface and rises to a height of about two metres, allowing visitors to enjoy views of the exhibition park and the sea from above.

Designed to resemble a Leonardesque landscape, with blurred planes that create depth and three-dimensionality, it hosted the landscape installation ‘The Green that Unites’ by ANVE (Associazione Nazionale Vivaisti Esportatori).

Description

The Mirador was undoubtedly one of the highlights of Euroflora 2025. This imposing structure has a square base measuring 18×18 metres and is centrally positioned along the set-up axis of Piazzale Kennedy, in dialogue with the Leccio Arena. The installation was conceived as an immersive experience for visitors, guiding them through a series of inclined planes and basins to reveal the unique colours and scents of our peninsula’s floral productions. Starting from the forecourt’s walking surface, the path rises to a height of almost two metres, enabling visitors to take in the expanse of the exhibition park and admire the sea through the large windows.

Built on a square base and structured in 1.2 x 1.2 metre modules to optimise the use of fir plywood panels, great attention has been paid to accessibility, with slopes of less than 8% guaranteed along the entire route.

The Mirador comprises a series of pools of different sizes and heights. Like a Leonardesque landscape, they fade away to create the illusion of depth and three-dimensionality. This allows visitors to enjoy an overall view of the installation and observe the unique characteristics of the plant species within it.

Designed by ANVE, the green setting aims to showcase the excellence of Made in Italy floriculture, taking visitors on an immersive journey that celebrates the balance between the natural beauty, creativity and passion of the production sector represented by the association.
