The Green Hill, construction of a residential building in Cantù

Description

Adjacent to the center of Cantù, the building complex develops a volume of about 10,000 cubic meters, distributed over a length of more than 70 meters. The length of the building and, consequently, of the building site prompted the identification of a dedicated solution that would be a qualifier of the entire project, through a bicycle/pedestrian pathway capable of embracing all levels of the building and leading the condominium owner and/or visitor into a naturalistic environment, with views of the surrounding mountains. A steel, glass and reinforced concrete structure accommodates about 24 apartments, possibly distributable according to different needs, all with terraces overlooking and accessing the “green hill” roof.

Today’s plant engineering and thermal insulation technologies ensure the eco-sustainability of the building, classifying the units in energy class A or higher. On the ground floor, which becomes a sub-street by accessing it from the main entrance, are the garages, connected to the upper floors through the stairwell and two elevators located at the ends of the building.

The entrance to the condominium, designed in the form of a luxury-style entrance hall, is located on the first floor, which becomes ground floor by pedestrian access from the upper street, and distributes the various levels by means of a spiral staircase. On the east front of the first floor, an elegant apartment, equipped with an infinity pool and wellness area, faces the Monte Rosa group, combining privacy and panoramic views.

On the top floor, accessed by means of a reserved call elevator, the full-floor penthouse is striking for the breadth of the view that sweeps from the Lake Como foothills to Monte Rosa and beyond, on fine days to the Ligurian Alps. Widespread superior quality characterizes the units, giving the apartments an elegant and refined style.
