Description

The villa is divided into two units spanning the mezzanine and first floor, complemented by a basement housing cellars. A delightful panoramic terrace crowns the staircase tower.

The design concept revolves around repositioning the spaces to ensure a clear division between the sleeping and living areas, with a particular focus on optimizing the functionality of the central corridor, which also serves as a structural support.

In the new layout, the corridor clearly separates the living area from the bedrooms, seamlessly integrating with the living space and offering direct access to the social hub of the house, flooded with natural light. This layout maximizes the bioclimatic benefits associated with the natural progression of daylight throughout the day. Bedrooms on the east side benefit from morning sunlight, providing an ideal environment for waking up and refreshing air circulation. As the day progresses and the direct sunlight moves away from this side, the rooms cool naturally, promoting restful conditions.

The living area, on the other hand, faces south-west to take advantage of the sun’s rays all year round and opens onto a spacious south-facing terrace. A pergola on the terrace provides shade during the hottest summer hours. The west-facing aspect ensures afternoon sunlight, warming the house and reducing energy consumption. Energy efficient insulation solutions and smart home automation systems position the house in Energy Class A and above.
